Welcome to our travel journal! Most of the entries on this blog will catalog our experiences as we travel throughout the US as fulltime RVers. I (Laurie), have kept handwritten travel journals since I was 11 so it’s something I love to do anyway, and in the late 90’s, Tom and I created www.healyadventures.com, simply as a place to archive all our travel photos. We’re hoping that Owen will jump in with a post from time to time too!

Given this journey we’ve embarked on, we figured it was time to marry up the narrative with the multimedia. If you’re looking for a beautifully curated, well-written and polished travel blog, this may not be the site for you (although we’ll try our best)…. but if you have any interest in the random places, people and points of interest we may encounter along the way, we’re so glad you’re here!

We launched from Lakeville, MN on July 6, 2021 with plans to visit 25 states between now and June 2022. We’re effectively taking it all on the road - parenting, school, work, marriage, and technically, our home!
